Overview

Elite Trader Funding is a futures prop firm founded on 14 February 2022 by Kanwal Singh and run as Elite Trader Funding, LLC. It sells monthly-billed evaluations on four plans (1 Step with a live trailing drawdown, End of Day, Static and Diamond Hands), a one-time-fee 10K Fast Track evaluation with a 10-day limit, and Direct to Funded accounts that skip the evaluation. Passing leads to a simulated Elite Sim-Funded account, kept active with a one-time or $87 monthly activation fee, where traders keep up to 100% of payouts until they have withdrawn $25,000 in total. At that point, or earlier at the firm's discretion, traders move to LIVE ELITE, a real-capital account on an 80/20 split with withdrawals on any business day. Up to 20 Elite accounts can be held at once.

Target ÷ loss is the total profit target divided by the max loss limit. Lower means less profit is needed for each unit of risk. Prices are list prices; "Apply discount" takes off the firm's current public code, which may not cover every program. Per $100K converts EUR and GBP at a fixed rate for ranking only. • ETF calls this its most popular plan. The drawdown follows the highest unrealized balance in real time, during the evaluation and in the Elite account.
  • After passing, the Elite Sim-Funded account is kept active with either the one-time activation fee shown ($177 or $247) or $87 a month; the two are alternatives, and monthly payers can switch to the one-time fee later.
  • In the Elite account the trailing stops once realized profit reaches the drawdown plus $100 (the safety net), and the floor is then fixed at the starting balance plus $100.
  • For accounts bought from 28 July 2026, payout cycle limits run from $250 up to $1,000, $1,250 or $1,500 (50K, 100K, 150K) in the first cycle, rising to $1,750, $2,000 or $2,250 from the fourth.
  • Active Trade Day rules apply to evaluations bought from 2 October 2026; earlier purchases use $200 and 23% of the best day.
  • A failed evaluation can be reset for $47 as often as needed, and a failed evaluation is reset at no charge when the subscription renews. The One Day to Pass add-on removes the 5-day minimum.

  • The drawdown trails the highest end-of-day balance, but open losses count intraday: touching the floor or the daily loss limit fails the account at once.
  • The daily loss limit ($1,100 or $2,200) is measured from the prior day's closing balance and is a hard breach; the TradeShield add-on turns it into a soft breach.
  • In the Elite account the drawdown locks and the daily loss limit is removed once realized profit reaches the drawdown plus $100.
  • Payout cycle limits run from $100 up to $1,250 (50K) or $1,750 (100K) in the first cycle, rising to $2,000 or $2,500 from the fourth.
  • Elite activation is $177 or $257 one-time, or $87 a month. A failed evaluation can be reset for $47.
  • Only the 50K and 100K sizes were on sale on the check date.

  • The minimum balance is set on day one and never moves, in the evaluation or in the Elite account; reaching the safety net does not change it.
  • Payout cycle limits run from $100 up to $500, $750 or $1,250 (10K, 25K, 50K) in the first cycle, rising to $1,000, $1,500 or $2,000 from the fourth.

Trading rules

What Elite Trader Funding lets you do on its accounts, taken from its rules and FAQ pages.

  • News trading

    Allowed

Major economic releases can be traded with no restrictions; ETF takes no responsibility for platform or fill problems during those periods.

  • Expert advisors

    Allowed with limits

AI, bots, EAs and algorithmic systems need ETF's written authorization; the only automated tools currently authorized are the approved trade copiers.

  • Copy trading

    Allowed with limits

Only approved copiers (Tradesyncer, Tradecopia, Affordable Indicators, the compliance edition of Replikanto) and copiers built into a platform may be used; trading for other people is prohibited.

  • Overnight holding

    Allowed with limits

Positions must be closed one minute before the instrument's close on most plans; only Diamond Hands and Direct to Funded accounts may hold through the close.

  • Weekend holding

    Allowed with limits

Only Diamond Hands and Direct to Funded accounts may hold positions over the weekend.

Rules to read before you buy

  • Give-back rule: once an Elite Sim-Funded account is up 20%, losing more than 35% of its total profit can remove it from the program and from LIVE ELITE eligibility.
  • Up to 20 Elite Sim-Funded accounts can be active at once, including accounts from Fast Track, and no more than 5 of them may be Direct to Funded.
  • One account per user and one trader per household; letting anyone else trade an account is prohibited.
  • VPNs, VPS, proxies and other IP-masking tools are prohibited, except approved partner services running from approved IP ranges.
  • Only the current, highest-volume contract month may be traded, and low-liquidity contracts are not allowed.
  • Going over the contract limit fails the account; in Elite accounts it also forfeits the profit.
  • Declaring professional market data status costs $128 per exchange per month, and accounts using a Rithmic data feed opened from 28 January 2026 pay a separate monthly connection fee.
  • Buyers must live in a country served by both Rise and Stripe; Guam, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands are not supported.

Inactivity: Each active account needs at least one valid trade every calendar week and a login at least every 30 days; missing either closes the account and forfeits its profit.

How the drawdown works

Intraday trailing (1 Step)
The loss limit follows your highest intraday equity in real time, including open profit that you later give back.
End-of-day trailing (End of Day, Diamond Hands, Fast Track (EOD), Direct to Funded (EOD))
The loss limit moves up once a day, based on your end-of-day balance, and ignores swings during the session.
Static (Static, Fast Track (Static), Direct to Funded (Static))
The loss limit is fixed at a set distance below your starting balance and never moves.

Consistency rules

1 Step
None on profit; an Active Trade Day needs $250 of realized profit and 30% of the best day's profit
End of Day
None on profit; an Active Trade Day needs $250 of realized profit and 30% of the best day's profit
Static
None on profit; an Active Trade Day needs $125 (10K, 25K) or $250 (50K) of realized profit and 30% of the best day
Diamond Hands
None on profit; an Active Trade Day needs $250 of realized profit and 30% of the best day's profit
Fast Track (EOD)
Best day at most 40% of total profit to pass and 30% at payout
Fast Track (Static)
Best day at most 40% of total profit to pass and 30% at payout
Direct to Funded (EOD)
An Active Trade Day needs $150 and 50% of the best day (10K) or $600 and 62% (50K)
Direct to Funded (Static)
An Active Trade Day needs $500 of realized profit and 50% of the best day
