What the rules mean in practice

  • To pass, grow the $100K account by $5,000 (5%) without breaking a loss limit.
  • On any single day you can lose up to $1,500 (1.5%). Check Elite Trader Funding's rules for whether that is measured from the day's starting balance or equity, because open trades count.
  • The account fails if you lose $3,500 (3.5%). This is end-of-day trailing drawdown: the loss limit moves up once a day, based on your end-of-day balance, and ignores swings during the session.
  • Consistency rule: None on profit; an Active Trade Day needs $250 of realized profit and 30% of the best day's profit
  • At a 100% split, you need about 0.4% return on the funded account to earn back the $397 fee for one month.
  • The one evaluation plan that allows positions to be held overnight and over the weekend.
  • End-of-day trailing drawdown of $3,500 and a $1,500 daily loss limit measured from the prior day's closing balance; open losses count intraday.
  • In the Elite account the drawdown locks and the daily loss limit is removed once realized profit reaches $3,600.
  • Payout cycle limits run from $100 up to $1,750 in the first cycle, rising to $2,500 from the fourth.
  • Elite activation is $307 one-time or $87 a month. A failed evaluation can be reset for $47.
