What the rules mean in practice

  • There is no evaluation. You trade a funded $100K account from day one, so the loss limits are the only rules between you and a payout.
  • On any single day you can lose up to $2,100 (2.1%). Check Lucid Trading's rules for whether that is measured from the day's starting balance or equity, because open trades count.
  • The account fails if you lose $3,500 (3.5%). This is end-of-day trailing drawdown: the loss limit moves up once a day, based on your end-of-day balance, and ignores swings during the session.
  • Consistency rule: 20% best-day rule in each payout cycle
  • At a 90% split, you need about 0.78% return on the funded account to earn back the $700 fee.
  • Payouts: each cycle needs a profit goal ($1,500, $3,000, $6,000 or $9,000 for the first; $1,250, $2,500, $3,500 or $4,500 after that) and a best day of no more than 20% of cycle profit.
  • Per-request caps are $1,000, $2,000, $2,500 or $3,000 for payouts 1 to 3 and $1,000, $2,500, $3,000 or $3,500 for payouts 4 and 5; the minimum request is $500.
  • The 25K has no daily loss limit. On the larger sizes the fixed limit becomes 60% of the highest end-of-day profit once the balance closes above $52,100, $103,600 or $155,100, and payouts can be requested during the session.
  • The loss limit trails the closing balance and locks at the starting balance plus $100.
  • LucidDirect has no add-ons or resets; a breached account must be bought again.
