What the rules mean in practice

  • There is no evaluation. You trade a funded $100K account from day one, so the loss limits are the only rules between you and a payout.
  • On any single day you can lose up to $2,000 (2%). Check AquaFunded's rules for whether that is measured from the day's starting balance or equity, because open trades count.
  • The account fails if you lose $4,000 (4%). This is equity trailing drawdown: the loss limit rises with your highest equity, including open profit, so it follows unrealised gains too.
  • Consistency rule: None
  • At a 90% split, you need about 1.11% return on the funded account to earn back the $999 fee.
  • The 4% maximum loss trails the highest equity reached.
  • Withdrawable profit is capped at 5% of the starting balance per payout cycle. Profit above the cap is removed when the payout is processed.
  • The account is closed if combined floating loss reaches 1% of the starting balance.
  • The Instant Flex article does not mention a 100% split add-on.

This is our reading of AquaFunded's published rules. The firm's own terms always take priority. See the full AquaFunded rules.
