How it compares

Target ÷ max loss

0.83

You need no more profit than the loss you are allowed. That is generous.

Break-even return

0.53%

Return needed on the funded account for your share to cover the fee.

Cost per $100K

$481

Cheaper than the $512 median for $100K forex challenges at other firms.

What the rules mean in practice

  • To pass, grow the $100K account by $10,000 (10%) without breaking a loss limit.
  • On any single day you can lose up to $3,000 (3%). Check AquaFunded's rules for whether that is measured from the day's starting balance or equity, because open trades count.
  • The account fails if you lose $12,000 (12%). This is static drawdown: the loss limit is fixed at a set distance below your starting balance and never moves.
  • Consistency rule: None
  • At a 90% split, you need about 0.53% return on the funded account to earn back the $481.39 fee.
  • Payouts: every 14 days (every 7 days with a paid add-on)
  • The 12% static maximum loss applies to accounts bought from 31 August 2026. Earlier accounts keep a 10% limit.
  • The daily loss limit is set at each 00:00 UTC reset from the higher of balance or equity.
  • On the funded account, a floating loss of 1% is a WaveStop strike: the first cuts the split to 50%, the second to 25%, and the third ends the account.

This is our reading of AquaFunded's published rules. The firm's own terms always take priority. See the full AquaFunded rules.
