How it compares

Target ÷ max loss

2.00

You need 2.00 times the allowed loss in profit before you pass.

Break-even return

0.57%

Return needed on the funded account for your share to cover the fee.

Cost per $100K

$285

Cheaper than the $338 median for $100K futures challenges at other firms.

What the rules mean in practice

  • To pass, grow the $100K account by $6,000 (6%) without breaking a loss limit.
  • There is no daily loss limit, so a bad day only fails the account if it breaks the overall max loss.
  • The account fails if you lose $3,000 (3%). This is end-of-day trailing drawdown: the loss limit moves up once a day, based on your end-of-day balance, and ignores swings during the session.
  • Consistency rule: Evaluation: no day above 30% of total profit, or the target rises; none in Funded Sim
  • At a 50% split, you need about 0.57% return on the funded account to earn back the $285 fee for one month.
  • The evaluation drawdown is calculated from the end-of-day balance but enforced in real time; after passing, the Funded Sim account switches to an intraday trailing drawdown.
  • Funded Sim payout rules, profit split tiers and the $10,000 gross-profit review are the same as Quick Pay (Intraday).
  • Resets cost $54, $79, $129 or $180, and a failed evaluation is reset free when the subscription renews.

This is our reading of TradeDay's published rules. The firm's own terms always take priority. See the full TradeDay rules.
