Break-even return

What the rules mean in practice
- To pass, grow the $50K account by $3,000 (6%) without breaking a loss limit.
- There is no daily loss limit, so a bad day only fails the account if it breaks the overall max loss.
- The account fails if you lose $2,000 (4%). This is intraday trailing drawdown: the loss limit follows your highest intraday equity in real time, including open profit that you later give back.
- Consistency rule: Best day must be under 50% of total profit in the test; none in PRO
- At a 80% split, you need about 0.43% return on the funded account to earn back the $170 fee for one month.
- The test drawdown trails the highest end-of-day balance. The PRO account uses the same dollar amount but trails intraday peaks, including open profit. The type shown is the PRO (funded) model, as the firm's journey table lists it. Both stop trailing once they reach the starting balance.
- Payouts: daily from the first PRO day, once the balance exceeds the starting balance plus the drawdown amount (for example $52,000 on a 50K account). There is no minimum number of profitable days, no consistency rule and no maximum withdrawal in PRO.
- The subscription is charged monthly until the test is passed or cancelled; there are no recurring fees on PRO accounts. A $130 one-time activation fee is charged to open each PRO account.
- If the best day is 50% or more of total profit, the test is not failed; the profit goal rises until the best day falls under half of the total.
- The homepage shows the daily loss limit as removed, so no daily limit applies in the test or PRO.
- Contract limits are the same in the test and PRO, with no scaling plan.
- Test resets cost $79, $99, $139, $169 or $199 by size and do not change the renewal date. A PRO account can be reset up to three times for $449 to $1,499 by size.
- PRO+ is a live account at Tradovate with a 90% split, an end-of-day trailing drawdown that starts at $0, no buffer and broker commission rates. While it is active, $5,000 of PRO profit is held back.
- PRO accounts must close positions from 1 minute before to 1 minute after FOMC statements, NFP and CPI; the test has no news rule.
