What the rules mean in practice
- There is no evaluation. You trade a funded $50K account from day one, so the loss limits are the only rules between you and a payout.
- On any single day you can lose up to $1,500 (3%). Check Goat Funded Trader's rules for whether that is measured from the day's starting balance or equity, because open trades count.
- The account fails if you lose $3,000 (6%). This is intraday trailing drawdown: the loss limit follows your highest intraday equity in real time, including open profit that you later give back.
- Consistency rule: Best day must be no more than 15% of profit in the payout period
- At a 80% split, you need about 1.22% return on the funded account to earn back the $488 fee.
- Payouts: every 14 days after 5 profitable days and within the 15% consistency rule.
- The 6% maximum loss trails the highest balance or equity during the day until it reaches the starting balance, and resets after each payout.
- A combined floating loss of 2% of the initial balance on open trades closes the account.
- The only add-on is the 100% split. Instant accounts cannot be merged.
