What the rules mean in practice
- There are 2 phases. Phase 1 needs $5,000 profit (10%); Phase 2 needs $2,500 profit (5%). The loss limits apply in every phase.
- On any single day you can lose up to $2,500 (5%). Check Goat Funded Trader's rules for whether that is measured from the day's starting balance or equity, because open trades count.
- The account fails if you lose $5,000 (10%). This is static drawdown: the loss limit is fixed at a set distance below your starting balance and never moves.
- Consistency rule: None
- At a 80% split, you need about 0.9% return on the funded account to earn back the $358 fee.
- Payouts: every 14 days after 4 profitable days of at least 0.5% (3 days for accounts bought before 25 July 2026).
- The 5% daily limit is measured from the higher of balance or equity at 5 PM EST; the 10% maximum loss is static.
- Funded accounts have a $3,000 daily profit cap. The first two payouts are capped at 6% of the initial balance or $10,000, whichever is lower (4% on $5K accounts).
- Add-ons: 100% split and an on-demand first reward at a 40% split.
- The fee is refunded with the fourth payout on the account.
