Crypto prop firms with small accounts of $10,000 or less

Crypto: this list covers accounts with a starting balance of $10,000 or less. Small accounts cost less to buy and less to lose, which makes them a common way to try a new firm, platform or strategy. The trade-off is smaller dollar loss limits and payouts, so position sizing needs more care.

76 accounts from 13 firms. Checked on or before 25 October 2026.

Why trade a small prop account

A small account lowers the price of learning. You experience a firm's rules, platform, support and payout process with less at stake, and a breach costs a fraction of what a large account would. Many traders use a small account to confirm that a firm pays reliably before buying a larger one.

The limits are tight in dollar terms. A daily loss limit on a small balance may cover only one or two losing trades at normal risk, and minimum position sizes on some instruments, such as indices or metals, can be too large for a sensible stop. Futures accounts are rarely this small, so the list is mostly forex, CFD and crypto programs.

Before buying, check the minimum trade size on the instruments you trade, the minimum payout amount, and whether the firm's scaling plan or account upgrades apply to small accounts. Compare the fee per $1,000 of balance, since small sizes often carry a higher relative cost.

Frequently asked questions

Do small accounts have easier rules?

Usually not. Targets and loss limits tend to use the same percentages as larger accounts in the same program. What changes is the dollar amount, which can make small accounts feel tighter.

Can I scale up from a small account?

Some firms offer scaling plans that add balance after consistent payouts, and you can usually buy a larger account at any time. Check whether the scaling plan applies to small sizes, since some plans start only at higher balances.

Still have a question?

Ask about a firm, a rule or a number that looks wrong. A link to the firm's own page helps us re-check it quickly.
