What the rules mean in practice

  • There are 2 phases. Phase 1 needs $5,000 profit (5%); Phase 2 needs $10,000 profit (10%). The loss limits apply in every phase.
  • On any single day you can lose up to $5,000 (5%). Check Propr's rules for whether that is measured from the day's starting balance or equity, because open trades count.
  • The account fails if you lose $8,000 (8%). This is equity trailing drawdown: the loss limit rises with your highest equity, including open profit, so it follows unrealised gains too.
  • Consistency rule: None
  • At a 80% split, you need about 0.94% return on the funded account to earn back the $749 fee.
  • Payouts: on demand with no waiting period, a $20 minimum and all positions closed; each payout sweeps all profit.
  • Both targets are measured from the original starting balance and the balance carries over from Step 1, so Step 2 needs a further 5% (for example, grow $100K to $105K, then to $110K).
  • The 8% maximum drawdown trails the highest equity reached, including open profit, and stops once it reaches the starting balance; after a payout the high-water mark and floor reset to their opening levels.
  • The 5% daily loss is set from the 00:00 UTC balance and checked against equity.

This is our reading of Propr's published rules. The firm's own terms always take priority. See the full Propr rules.
