What the rules mean in practice
- To pass, grow the $25K account by $2,250 (9%) without breaking a loss limit.
- On any single day you can lose up to $750 (3%). Check Kraken Prop's rules for whether that is measured from the day's starting balance or equity, because open trades count.
- The account fails if you lose $750 (3%). This is static drawdown: the loss limit is fixed at a set distance below your starting balance and never moves.
- Consistency rule: None
- At a 80% split, you need about 0.48% return on the funded account to earn back the $95 fee.
- Payouts: requested at any time from a funded account with no open positions or orders; each request is reviewed, usually within 12 hours and at most 24.
- The 3% maximum drawdown is fixed from the starting balance, the same size as the daily limit.
- The 90/10 split upgrade adds 20% of the base fee and must be chosen at purchase.
