What the rules mean in practice
- There are 2 phases. Phase 1 needs $2,000 profit (8%); Phase 2 needs $1,250 profit (5%). The loss limits apply in every phase.
- On any single day you can lose up to $1,250 (5%). Check The5ers's rules for whether that is measured from the day's starting balance or equity, because open trades count.
- The account fails if you lose $2,500 (10%). This is static drawdown: the loss limit is fixed at a set distance below your starting balance and never moves.
- At a 80% split, you need about 0.98% return on the funded account to earn back the $195 fee.
- Payouts: every 14 days; first payout 14 days after the funded account is issued.
- The Classic version has an 8% Step 1 target and a higher fee than the New version; all other rules match.
- Daily loss and maximum loss work as in the New version (5%/10% up to 25K, 4%/8% on 50K and 100K).
- Classic account limits are lower: one 2.5K, one 5K, one 10K or 25K, and one 50K or 100K account at a time.
- The5ers' payout FAQ still uses a $545 price for the 100K account in its refund example, which does not match the $455 shown in the current pricing table.
