What the rules mean in practice
- There are 2 phases. Phase 1 needs $2,000 profit (8%); Phase 2 needs $1,250 profit (5%). The loss limits apply in every phase.
- On any single day you can lose up to $1,250 (5%). Check Hola Prime's rules for whether that is measured from the day's starting balance or equity, because open trades count.
- The account fails if you lose $2,500 (10%). This is static drawdown: the loss limit is fixed at a set distance below your starting balance and never moves.
- Consistency rule: None on the 14- and 30-day cycles; best day capped at 40% of profit for on-demand payouts
- At a 80% split, you need about 1.15% return on the funded account to earn back the $229 fee.
- Prices are for the default bi-weekly cycle at 80%. The on-demand cycle costs more ($719 for 100K) and the monthly 95% cycle about 20% more ($817 for 100K). The cycle cannot be changed after purchase.
- Targets and loss limits match 2-Step Prime: 5% daily and 10% maximum, or 4% and 8% on 200K. Leverage is higher: 1:100 on forex, 1:20 on indices and metals, 1:10 on exotics, 1:5 on commodities and 1:2 on crypto.
- On the funded account, trades on instruments affected by high-impact news cannot be opened or closed from 5 minutes before to 5 minutes after the release, and profit from that window is reversed. The challenge has no news restriction.
- On the funded account, positions still open at 15:45 EST on Friday are closed by the system and the account is paused until Monday.
- Funded accounts have a cap on total open lots: 10 on 25K, 20 on 50K, 40 on 100K and 80 on 200K, with no cap on 5K and 10K. A second breach cuts the split to 30% and ends the account.
- Funded accounts require a stop-loss on every trade and cap the risk per trade idea at 2% of the initial balance.
- The challenge fee is refunded with the fourth payout from the funded account. Add-on fees are not refunded.
