What the rules mean in practice
- To pass, grow the $10K account by $1,000 (10%) without breaking a loss limit.
- On any single day you can lose up to $300 (3%). Check Hola Prime's rules for whether that is measured from the day's starting balance or equity, because open trades count.
- The account fails if you lose $600 (6%). This is static drawdown: the loss limit is fixed at a set distance below your starting balance and never moves.
- Consistency rule: None on the 14- and 30-day cycles; best day capped at 40% of profit for on-demand payouts
- At a 80% split, you need about 1.11% return on the funded account to earn back the $89 fee.
- Prices are for the default bi-weekly cycle at 80%. The on-demand cycle costs more ($619 for 100K) and the monthly 95% cycle about 20% more ($695 for 100K). The cycle cannot be changed after purchase.
- Daily loss is 3% of the previous day's closing balance. Maximum loss is fixed at 6% below the initial balance and does not trail.
- News trading and weekend holding are allowed in the challenge and on the funded account.
- Funded accounts require a stop-loss on every trade and cap the risk per trade idea at 2% of the initial balance.
- Leverage is 1:50 on forex, 1:10 on indices and metals, 1:5 on exotics, 1:2 on commodities and 1:1 on crypto.
- The challenge fee is refunded with the fourth payout from the funded account. Add-on fees are not refunded.
- The add-ons FAQ uses a $499 price for 1-Step Prime 100K in its example, which does not match the $579 list price in the current pricing table.
