What the rules mean in practice
- To pass, grow the $25K account by $2,500 (10%) without breaking a loss limit.
- On any single day you can lose up to $750 (3%). Check Goat Funded Trader's rules for whether that is measured from the day's starting balance or equity, because open trades count.
- The account fails if you lose $1,500 (6%). This is static drawdown: the loss limit is fixed at a set distance below your starting balance and never moves.
- Consistency rule: None
- At a 80% split, you need about 1.07% return on the funded account to earn back the $214 fee.
- Payouts: every 14 days after 4 profitable days of at least 0.5% (3 days for accounts bought before 27 July 2026).
- The daily limit is 3% for accounts bought from 1 August 2026 (4% before), measured from the higher of balance or equity at 5 PM EST. The 6% maximum loss is static.
- Funded accounts have a $3,000 daily profit cap; any excess is removed without a breach.
- Add-ons: 100% split, and an on-demand first reward paid at a 40% split once the account is 3% up over 3 profitable days.
- The fee is refunded with the fourth payout on the account.
