What the rules mean in practice
- To pass, grow the $25K account by $3,000 (12%) without breaking a loss limit.
- On any single day you can lose up to $750 (3%). Check FundingPips's rules for whether that is measured from the day's starting balance or equity, because open trades count.
- The account fails if you lose $3,000 (12%). This is static drawdown: the loss limit is fixed at a set distance below your starting balance and never moves.
- Consistency rule: None on the bi-weekly cycle; 35% best-day rule on the on-demand cycle
- At a 80% split, you need about 1.27% return on the funded account to earn back the $255 fee.
- Prices above are for the default 3% daily loss limit. A 2% daily limit lowers the price to $52 ($5K), $77 ($10K), $192 ($25K), $269 ($50K) and $529 ($100K).
