What the rules mean in practice
- There are 2 phases. Phase 1 needs $800 profit (8%); Phase 2 needs $400 profit (4%). The loss limits apply in every phase.
- On any single day you can lose up to $400 (4%). Check Blue Guardian's rules for whether that is measured from the day's starting balance or equity, because open trades count.
- The account fails if you lose $800 (8%). This is static drawdown: the loss limit is fixed at a set distance below your starting balance and never moves.
- Consistency rule: None
- At a 85% split, you need about 0.88% return on the funded account to earn back the $75 fee.
- Payouts: every 14 days (every 7 days with a paid add-on)
- Accounts bought before 20 August require 5 trading days instead of 3.
- On the funded account, Guardian Shield closes all positions at a 2% floating loss. The first trigger cuts the split to 50% and the second ends the account.
- News trading is allowed in both evaluation phases but restricted on the funded account.
- Forex leverage is 1:50.
